 The Tea Party Comes To Harrisburg!
On Saturday, November 14, FreedomWorks and the Tea Party Patriots marched on Harrisburg to demand fiscal responsibility and accountability from our elected representatives. Approximately 1,000 patriots, including Thomas Jefferson Club mobsters, delivered this message to the Capitol steps and heard speeches from Rob Mitchell, Ana Puig, Brendan Steinhauser, and other conservatives.

NATIONAL HOUSECALL PROTEST IN BRISTOL
 OUR PROTEST WAS A SUCCESS!
On November 5, while thousands and thousands of people participated in the National Housecall protest against the healthcare bill, TJC united with other patriot groups in the Bucks County area to stage a demonstration outside Congressman Patrick Murphy's offices in Bristol. A terrific, energized crowd of over 50 people converged with signs, banners, flags, letters, handouts, and high spirits to let Mr. Murphy know in no uncertain terms that HR3200, the Pelosi healthcare bill and socialist grab for power is UNACCEPTABLE, and that if he votes FOR it, he and his staff had better start updating their resumes! A letter from an historic day...
On September 12, 2009, the largest group of people that ever assembled in Washington DC to hold a political event came to town. It was a true grass-roots protest, all brought about by our government's assault on every American's liberty. The people came by train, by car, and by bus, travelling at their own expense from as far away as California to make their voices heard. According to a company specializing in crowd statistics analysis commissioned by Glenn Beck, the crowd numbered between 1.3 and 1.7 MILLION people. The National Park Service, which is responsible for the Mall, said this was easily the largest gathering ever assembled in DC. This is one man's story....

I attended the Town Hall meeting on Sunday with Senator Arlen Specter and Secretary of Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sibelius. It was my question to Senator Specter about reading health care legislation before voting on it that caught fire on YouTube and wound up on the Drudge Report by Monday morning. The phone started ringing off the hook, and I wound up on Neal Cavuto on Monday afternoon and in the Bucks County Courier the next day. Most recently I was on Rush Limbaugh.

TJC On Rush Limbaugh!
Rob Mitchell, TJC member, made it onto the Rush Limbaugh Show on August 4, 2009. Rob had asked Senator Specter at his Philadelphia town hall how the Senate could possibly vote on health care bill HR3200 if they had not even read it. Senator Specter's answer was totally unacceptable to the crowd and to thinking Americans. The clip was shown nationwide and sparked a firestorm at other town halls across the country.
