It was confirmed today that TV/radio personality and bestselling author, Rita Cosby, will be joining us for the rescheduled Commemorative Christmas Tea Party this Saturday, 1 PM, at Independence Mall, 5th and Chestnut Streets.

Ms. Cosby's most recent book, Secrets from My Father's Past, will be available for book purchasing and signing during the Post-Inaugural After Party at the Downtown Club, 6th and Chestnut Streets (reservations strongly recommended as space is limited. Call 215.690.4043).

Big Talker Host Dom Giordano will reprise his role as Dr. Benjamin Rush and the Whitehall Guard Fife and Drum will play once again.

Anna Little will sing "God Bless America" and Tomaczek Bednarek will sing the "Star Spangled Banner."

We have been given word that one of the recently elected Congressmen will be on hand. 

Gifts for the troops will still be collected even though it a few weeks past Christmastime!                                                

2nd Annual Commemorative Christmas Tea Party (and Post-Inaugural After Party)

A family event celebrating the 237th Anniversary of the First Philadelphia Tea Party, with Dom Giordano as Dr. Benjamin Rush.

When:   January 8, 2010, Commemorative Tea Party,1-2 PM; Post-Inaugural After Party, 
              2-3:30 PM.
 

Where:  Commemorative Tea Party, Independence Mall, 5th and Chestnut Streets,
               Post-Inaugural After Party, Downtown Club, Public Ledger Building, 6th and

               Chestnut Streets.

Cost:      Commemorative Christmas Tea Party, Free and open to the public.  
                 Hot cocoa and hot cider will be served, along with traditional cookies.
                 Commemorative program booklets will be distributed.   
                 However, we're asking you to donate a small gift for our troops.
